Many of the clients that I work with find it difficult to effectively connect, communicate, and deal with conflict within their couples relationship. I work individually with clients using the Gottman Relationship Skills to help them learn the 7 essential skills for making relationships work. When taught individually, the Gottman Relationship Skills empower a person to change the dynamics of their relationship by managing their own reactions, enhancing emotional intelligence, and reducing personal contributions to conflict. Even without your partner present, an individual can use these tools to foster a more secure and positive relationship.
